Mumbai Live spoke to Shirke’s daughter who had the last talk with her mother before she passed away.

Around 8:00 am, I received a phone call from my mother, and she sounded terrified. She started crying and informed me that a fire has broken out in the building. I asked her the location, she told me that fire broke out in the lobby. I asked her to get out of the house safely and I told her that I will reach home by then. However, when I reached the tower, I called her up but she didn’t answer. I asked police about her whereabouts and I was told that she was taken to KEM Hospital where I got to know that she passed away due to suffocation,” Shirke’s daughter.
