Dadar is that one area in Mumbai that is ever bustling. Yet, considering that cleanliness has always been an issue over here, the ALM formed a committee on 19 July 2015 for the residents staying near Samarth Math.
It is through ALM that around 1 lakh kgs of garbage is sent for dumping to the municipal corporation. Out of this garbage, the wet waste amounts to 76 thousand kgs and the dry waste amounts to 24 thousand kgs, as stated by Subhash Patil, one of the ALM officials.
It is therefore because of the local residents and ALM officials that the standards of cleanliness are now rising.
