The mortality rate among newborn babies in Mumbai has decreased, according to Health Committee Chairman Harish Bhandirge. He stated that the Public Health Department has been instructed to improve the quality of treatment services and make healthcare delivery in municipal hospitals more efficient.
The initiative aims to provide better-quality, modern, and effective healthcare for newborns in hospitals operated by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
