A fire broke out today at around 2:00 PM at Beaumonde Towers in Prabhadevi. The plush society in Prabhadevi also happens to be the residence of Bollywood star Deepika Padukone. The fire was reported on the 33rd floor of the building and was classified as a Level III fire by the Mumbai Fire Brigade. About 100 residents were rescued from the building and no casualties are reported as of now. Deepika was on a shoot when the fire broke out.

Deepika Padukone bought the apartment back in 2010 with her father Prakash Padukone.
The father-daughter jointly own the Beaumonde Towers property. The apartment is on the 26th floor of Tower B of the society.
The apartment is 4BHK and spans 2,776 square feet. Deepika bought the property for Rs 16 crore. Her apartment comes with three parking slots.
The Beaumonde Towers complex has two tennis, badminton and squash courts as well as several open-air exercise decks. It has three residential skyscrapers.
The residential society is very close to Siddhivinayak temple where Deepika is seen paying a visit before every film release.
