04:30 pm- As per the latest reports, Harish Fabia who owned a duplex flat caught fire who is currently residing in the USA. As per the fire brigade reports, the fire broke out due to short circuit. At the time of the incident, furniture work was going on in his house.
04:26 pm- Shiv Sena MLA Sada Sarvankar criticised the state government and fire brigade department for giving NOC to high rise buildings.

03:31 pm- Fire brigade had brought the fire under control
02:40 pm- Meanwhile, shortly after the fire broke out, it engulfed all three floors i.e. 33rd, 34th, and 35th of Beaumonde Towers. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) workers who were present on the site carried out lathi charge on people who were crowding around the tower.
02:30 pm- The fire brigade had reported the level-III fire and no casualties were reported. According to the fire brigade department, the fire could have been caused by the short circuit in the AC. Two hydraulics, ambulances were present on the site.

Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone resides on the 26th floor of Beaumonde Towers and her staff's office is on the 30th floor. Fire brigade team successfully rescued Deepika Padukone's staff. At the time of the incident, she was out on a shoot.
