In Vashi’s APMC vegetable market, the arrival of raw mangoes has increased and the demand of customers for pickles and aam panna is also increasing. On Friday, 590 quintals of raw mangoes arrived in the market. As soon as the summer starts, raw mangoes arrive in the month of April-May.
At present, eight vehicles loaded with raw mangoes arrived in the market including Neelam, Totapuri etc. The ongoing wholesale rates are INR 24-40 per kg. It is being sold at INR 60 to 80 rupees in the retail market. It is imported from Maharashtra, South India, and Gujarat. Wholesale traders have expressed the opinion that the inflow will increase more in the upcoming months.
