Where the government has reduced the price of a gas cylinder by INR 200, the price of bread is increasing. Due to an increase in the price of flour, the price of bread packets has increased by INR 2 to INR 8. 

 

There has been no increase in the price of brown bread

The price of white slice bread has increased by INR 2 to INR 8. The price of normal bread weighing 350–400 grams has now come down from INR 35 to INR 38. 200 grams of mini bread, which was available for INR 18, will now be available for INR 20. Although the price of white bread has increased, there has been no increase in the price of brown bread.

Flour prices increased.

The price of large bread packets of 600–650 grams has increased from INR 52–55 to INR 60. The price of 800 grams of bread, which is used by sandwich vendors, has increased from INR 70 to INR 75. Owing to the increase in the price of flour, there has been an increase in the price of white bread.
