In order to enhance their beauty, women, as well as men, can be seen using branded beauty products without a second thought. However, a recent raid by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recovered fake beauty products worth crores of rupees. In addition, the beauty products that were confiscated were being sold in the name of branded companies.

FDA received information that some gangs bought small glass bottles and beauty products thrown in the dustbin at cheap prices. After buying the bottles they would clean the bottles, fill them with adulterated substance and sell it at high prices in the name of branded companies.
