The year 2018 has not started right for Mumbai. While the city faced Bhima Koregaon violence in the last few days, many parts of Mumbai also were unfortunate with fire incidents. It has just been 5 days in the new year, and three fire incidents have already been reported, affected some.

As per the information received, fire breaks out once again at Jia Apartments, opposite Anjuman school, on Bellasis road in Mumbai Central. BMC control room has informed that the level-III fire broke out at 12:30 PM on the ground floor, which hosts a godown. No casualties have been reported yet.

Earlier this month, a portion of a mall in Vile Parle and a residential apartment in Andheri caught fire. Apart from these incidents, city’s popular Kamala Mills Compound also faced a fire incident at the 1 Above restaurant, after which BMC and several officials came under the scanner for providing and running businesses illegally without permissions.
