Fire breaks out in Goregaon East on Saturday Morning

A level-III fire was spread at the Kama Industrial estate on Goregaon East’s Wallbert Road. No casualties have been reported and the fire has been extinguished. More information is awaited

Mumbai has seen many fire incidents in the first month of 2018, where some lost lives, and many brought BMC and fire department to a high alert, in regards to the fire safety checks.

As per reports, another fire broke out today morning in Goregaon East’s Kama Industrial Estate on Wallbert Road. The building was used as a factory and the fire spread quickly in the structure.

Information from the related departments mention that the teams received a call about the fire at 07:57 AM and a Level-III fire was confirmed at 08:58 AM. Eight fire engines and seven water tankers were immediately sent to the location.

No casualties have been reported yet and the fire has been extinguished.

Earlier this month, fire incidents were also reported at Mumbai's Cinevistas studious, a residential apartment in Andheri East, Mumbai Sessions Court and another godown in SoBo.
