According to accounts, they were amongst the 22 onboard the private airline, operated by Tata Air in Nepal that on Sunday went missing. The search operations on Sunday were halted due to snowfall but were resumed on Monday, May 30, morning. The troops were able to physically locate the plane crash site.

An aggregate of 19 flyers has been confirmed to have been on board the flight.
