Minister Shambhuraj Desai said in the Vidhansabha that a decision will be taken soon regarding the appointment of women security guards in government girls' hostels in the state. Assembly members Akash Phundkar, Balwant Wankhade, Ram Kadam, Yashomati Thakur, Nitin Raut raised questions regarding the facilities provided in the government hostel for backward class girls at Khamgaon in Buldhana district.
Minister Shambhuraj Desai said that complaints have been received about non-availability of facilities in the government hostel for backward class girls in Khamgaon. Accordingly, as per the investigation conducted by the authorities, the charge of the post of housekeeper responsible for the same has been removed and action will be taken against the concerned as per rules.
Minister Shambhuraj Desai said that complaints have been received from many public representatives regarding the buildings and premises of girls hostels in the state.
