Churchgate - Footpath in the city will undergo modification. BMC has announced this, that footpath on the Colaba, Churchgate and CST will be face-lifted and provided a heritage look. Handicaps will be taken into consideration while modernising the footpath. Cobblestone will be set up on the footpath in the Asiatic society and Hornimon Circle area. Other footpaths which are included in the list are Naoroji Marg, Hutatma Chowk to St. Thomas Cathedral and Churchgate station. The ramp will also be installed on the footpath so that handicaps could tread easily using their wheelchairs. A ward Corporator Kiran Dighavkar assured that face-lifting work will start soon.
