Kangana Ranaut to be under home quarantine for 14 days in Mumbai

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is expected to return to Mumbai on September 9, 2020, and keeping the ongoing confrontation in mind, several Mumbaikars are eager for her to come to the city. Amidst this, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar has informed that the actress will have to follow the guidelines issued by the ICMR, and remain under home quarantine for 14 days, as per the protocol.

Addressing the media in this regards, Mayor Pednekar said that ICMR has issued rules regarding coronavirus infection, based on which any person arriving in the city needs to be quarantined for safety purposes. A quarantine stamp is stamped on their hands, and the same rules will apply for Kangana, as the actress is coming to Mumbai from a different state. She will be issued the stamp at the airport and the he administration will ensure appropriate action as per the rules.

Earlier, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials inspected Kangana Ranaut's office in Pali Hill area, to understand if her office was built as per the Municipal Corporation rules. This has bothered the actress as it was not done in her presence, and following this Kangana took to social media to inform everyone about this inspection further placing allegations against municipal officials.

The inspection team consisted of three officers and three staff members, who inspected the entire office and other bungalows adjacent to Kangana's office. Questions with regards to the construction on the, other illegal aspects, construction errors, etc. were reviewed by a team from the municipality. Furthermore, road measurements were taken in some other areas.

Kangana Ranaut in a recently posted comment spoke ill about the city of Mumbai and compared it with PoK, which made many celebrities, politicians and the general public angry. The issue has now taken a nasty turn, where Shiv Sena leaders have expressed their anger, and in return, Kangana Ranaut has challenged them to stop her from entering the city on September 9. Meanwhile, she has been given a Y-Security from the Center and the same was done after her father approached the ministry for support after receiving threats.
