Mohmmed Ali alias Babubhai Khan (66), a resident of Behrampada in Bandra, is a person who has been chasing a dream of taking Islam to common people in a different way. “I have been demanding the removal of loudspeakers from the mosques as loudspeakers are in no way connected to the Islam,” says Babubhai who has been fighting for this cause for over 24 years. He has even taken this case to the court. With the tweet of singer Sonu Nigam regarding loudspeakers on mosques, the issue has once again come to the public domain and with it, Babubhai’s fight also has got underlined. Mumbai Live contacted Babubhai to know his thoughts on this issue. Babubhai said, “I appreciate Sonu Nigam. If a time comes, I will fight a court case for him.”
