Mumbaikars witnessed an uncommon sight when beautiful peacocks made an unexpected appearance at one of the busiest station, Churchgate, on Wednesday evening, June 28. It is pertinent to note this is the first time that the city was treated to a rare spectacle.
Churchgate station, renowned for its historic architecture and bustling railway operations, had never seen such a unique and colorful guest.
The vibrant and majestic bird captivated commuters and passersby, adding a touch of natural beauty to the bustling urban setting.
Passengers stated that the peacock was first spotted gracefully strolling near the station area, seemingly undisturbed by the hustle and bustle of the railway station.
This caught the attention of startled onlookers who quickly reached for their smartphones to capture the extraordinary sight. Later, the peacocks decided to elevate the spectacle by perching atop the Overhead Equipment (OHE) mast. However, a crowd gathered below to enjoy the mesmerizing view during monsoon.
As night fell over, the peacock melted back into the darkness, leaving behind a memorable tale.
