Mumbai live had already reported yesterday about the fire, at Cinevista studio Kanjurmarg. The studio is situated near Kanjurmarg station and is spread over 25000sq. acres. While the shooting of Colors’ upcoming show Bepannaah was going on fire broke out in floor no.12 and the flames had been confined to the electric wiring and the studio instruments in an area of 3000 sq ft., earlier there were no reports of any casualties. Around 150 people were present during the incident including the leads Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda.
As per the latest update, Gopi Sharma who was the audio assistant on the sets of Bepannaah has been found dead at the spot today early morning. Yesterday the fire brigade personnel had asked the crew if any member had gone missing, nothing was reported.
This is not the first time when Cinevista has been in news for fire break out, last year similar incident had happened during the shoot of Sony TV’s show Beyhadh and incidentally, the lead actress was Jennifer Winget only.
