On Tuesday, a leopard cub was found near the site of the former metro car shed in the Aarey milk colony. The cub was then rescued from Aarey’s Unit 22. The cub has undergone a medical examination and efforts are underway to trace its mother, state reports. He will be kept in the same place to see if the mother takes him and attempts to reunite them are currently underworks.

A two-month-old leopard cub was found by residents in the area of the former Metro car shed in the Aarey milk colony on Tuesday evening. Residents were alerted by the barking of the dogs. They then inspected the area where the metro car shed will be located on the way to the Tapeshwar Temple. It is then that they saw the cub. Forest department officials, local police and volunteers were later informed.
