On Thursday, June 11 2020, a level-II fire broke out at Mumbai's popular Crawford Market. As per reports, the fire was confined to four galas situated on the ground floor of the Mahatma Gandhi Phule Market.
Rescue teams and other officials were immediately informed about the incident. Six fire engines, three jumbo tankers and one QRV have been mobilized at the spot.

No casualties or injuries have been reported. As per details given, the fire broke out at 6:15 PM and locals immediately reported the same. The reason for the fire has not been informed his yet. However, senior officials have reached the spot and the incident is being investigated.
Mumbai's Crawford Market is known for several shops, which sell dry fruits, clothes, vegetable, fruits and related food items and it is popular for the wholesale buyers.
