Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Now vote by showing these 12 types of identity certificates

For the Lok Sabha General Election 2024, the Election Commission has accepted 12 types of identity proof, including Voter ID Card, to verify the identity of voters before voting.

The Election Commission has accepted twelve types of identity proof for voters to exercise their franchise. Therefore, now it will be possible to verify the identity of voters while voting in the Lok Sabha general elections.

Through which documents can one vote?

• Aadhar card
• MNREGA job card
• Passbook with photo issued by bank and post office
• Health insurance smart card issued under the scheme of Labor Ministry
• Driving License, PAN Card, Smart Card issued by Ministry of Labor
• Indian passport
• Pension document with photograph
• Service Identity Card with photograph issued to employees by Central and State Government/PSU/Public Limited Companies
• Official identity cards issued to MPs, MLAs
