Lok Sabha elections are going to be held in the country due to which the government has drastically reduced the price of LPG gas. On the first day of the new financial year, oil marketing companies have cut the prices of LPG gas cylinders. Meanwhile, the gas price cut has been made only on commercial gas cylinders. 19 kg LPG cylinder has become cheaper by INR 32. The new rates have come into effect from today (April 1).


New prices of LPG gas cylinder from Delhi to Kolkata

There has been a reduction in the price of commercial gas cylinders from April 1. Similarly, the price of a 19 kg LPG gas cylinder has decreased by INR 30.50 to INR 1764.50. After the cut of INR 32, the new price of LPG gas cylinder in Kolkata will be INR 1879. In Mumbai, the price of an LPG gas cylinder will be reduced by INR 31.50 to INR 1717.50, in Chennai it will be available at INR 1930 with a reduction of INR 30.50.

Know the new price of 19 kg LPG gas in your city


  • Delhi- INR 1764.50
  • Kolkata- INR 1879.00
  • Mumbai- INR 1717.50
  • Chennai- INR 1930.00

According to the IOCL website, the new prices of LPG gas cylinders have come into effect from April 1. Earlier on March 1, the price of a 19 kg LPG gas cylinder was INR 1795 in Delhi, INR 1749 in Mumbai and INR 1960.50 in Chennai.


Domestic gas cylinder prices reduced on Women's Day

Earlier, the Central Government had given relief to housewives on the occasion of Women's Day. At that time the price of a 14 kg domestic gas cylinder was reduced by INR 100. At present there is no change in the price of domestic gas cylinders. The price of domestic gas cylinders in Delhi is INR 803, in Kolkata INR 829, in Mumbai INR 802.50 and in Chennai INR 818.50.
