An LPG gas pipeline burst open outside the Bharat Petroleum Petrol Pump at Chembur Naka on Monday morning at 11:30.
Petrol pump workers notified the fire brigade immediately and they were at the spot to deal with the situation.
Due to large quantity of gas leakage, the police shut traffic on the Sion-Panvel road. The traffic was shortly resumed after the Bharat Petroleum employees stopped the gas pipeline.
