It’s an auspicious year for the employees working at Siddhivinayak Temple for it has decided to hire employees working at the temple for over 10-15 years on a permanent basis. A government decision was issued for the same on Monday. The decision is highly influenced due to the hard work put in by the president of the Siddhivinayak Ganpati Temple Trust, Aadesh Bandekar, who has been working for the cause for the last one year.


Several employees have worked at Siddhivinayak Temple temporarily for 10-15 years. They were paid according to the basis of a wage hierarchy. Now, specific posts have been finalised. A clear study plan has been outlined by the workers in the context. The report was sent to the government, after approval of which the workers got a permanent place at work," Aadesh Bandekar, President of Sri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple Trust.


About ₹25-26 crore was deposited by Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple Trust in a fixed deposit account at a nationalised bank. The trust has collected funds from the interest amount from this account. The expenditure of the temple will be borne by this fund and hence Government treasury or the trust will not be burdened.

Aadesh Bandekar told Mumbai Live that the families of over 133 employees will be benefitted with the plan. He has been appointed for a ministerial post a few days ago.
