The State Government has announced handing a post in the State Ministry to Siddhivinayak Temple Trustee, Aadesh Bandekar

Bandekar is a Shiv Sena leader and is active in the Marathi entertainment industry. BJP certainly will look forward to the decision as a solution to bridge the growing gap between Shiv Sena and them due to political conflicts.

Bandekar started his career with acting and later joined Shiv Sena. He is still a Shiv Sena activist and holds the post of Secretary. Bandekar got wide recognition from Marathi TV show 'Home Minister'. In 2014, Shiv Sena had given him a ticket but he lost to MNS' Nitin Sardesai. At this time, he was the President of Shri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple Trust.

A few days ago, when BJP's national president Amit Shah came to Mumbai, Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray had conducted 'a closed room meeting'. It is said that during that meeting, Bandekar was to be given a position in the State Ministry.

Now it would be really interesting to see if the step taken by the BJP to reduce the crack with Shiv Sena actually makes some difference to the current status.
