According to sources, on Friday, February 5, a major fire broke out in the Mankhurd area of Mumbai.

The scrap material collected in Mankhurd reportedly caught fire as informed by the locals. Moreover, several water tankers rushed to the spot to douse the fire.

Meanwhile, massive plumes of black smoke were observed in the area as the fire increased on Friday afternoon. In addition, according to the fire officials, the fire was a Level 3 blaze.  

In recent developments, several water tankers were rushed to the spot. However, no injuries have been reported so far.
