The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has postponed the online registration for 120 unsold flats in Mumbai under its First-Come, First-Served (FCFS) scheme.

The registration was supposed to start on 5 February 2026. However, due to technical problems with the online system, MHADA delayed the process. It has been about a week since the postponement, and the new registration date has not yet been announced.

Officials said they are working to fix the technical issues. They expect the registration process to begin soon, possibly within the next week. Once registration starts, buyers will be able to apply and book flats on a first-come, first-served basis.

The FCFS scheme was introduced to sell flats that remained unsold in previous MHADA lotteries. To apply, a person must be an Indian citizen and at least 18 years old.

MHADA will announce the new dates once the system is ready. People interested in buying these flats should check MHADA’s official website for updates.
