It has been 7 years that the people of Anik Panjarapola Pisthapita are wandering. To make the demands of the redevelopment of 2000 migrants, they thronged the MMRDA office. They stated that unless MMRDA gives them the assurance, they won't settle. Further, APLR project is one of the major projects at which Slum Rehabilitation Society (SRS) is involved in delivering secure, safe, legal and hygienic homes to slum dwellers who were displaced.
Protestor Motiram Kharat has raised voice against MMRDA in this regard. On the other hand, MMRDA has denied the news of these people to be the displaced persons and the senior officer has stated that they are telling bluffing the officials of MMRDA.
