Therefore, for the security of all members, visitors will not be allowed to enter the BMC headquarters after 11:00 am.
The second meeting of the G20 Council's Disaster Mitigation Working Group is being held in Mumbai from May 23 to May 25 May 2023. The delegation of this working group will visit Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation headquarters on May 23. The delegation is going to learn about the emergency management operations of the Municipal Corporation by visiting the Disaster Management Room at the Municipal Corporation Headquarters.
Also going to do a heritage walk of the headquarters. As the G-20 delegation includes important persons, the municipal administration has decided not to allow visitors to enter the municipal headquarters after 11:00 am on Tuesday May 23, 2023 due to the security arrangements of all these members. Daily office hours are 9.45 am to 11:00 am. After that, entry to the headquarters will not be allowed.
This year India holds the presidency of the group of G-20 countries. Under this, meetings of working groups of G-20 countries are being organised in various cities of the country on various topics. As a part of this, the meeting of G-20 countries working group on 'Emergency Risk Mitigation' will be held in Mumbai from Tuesday May 23 to Thursday May 25, 2023.
More than 120 delegates from 20 countries that are members of the G-20 Council will participate in this meeting. The members from various countries coming for this meeting will visit the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation headquarters on May 23 in the evening.
