Best Bus is the most economical public transport option for Mumbai residents after railways. That's why BEST Bus is called the second lifeline of Mumbai. Some people forget their luggage while traveling in the BEST bus. Some even forget their mobile phones. However, some get their phones back. Those who don't get back their luggage or mobile phones, the BEST administration has tried to give some relief to the passengers who forget their mobiles in the BEST bus.
In January 2023, the BEST started reissuing the mobile phones found in BEST buses to the passengers. The administration has informed that in January 2023, the list of mobile phones lost in the BEST bus and mobile phones deposited with BEST has been put on the website of BEST in the department of missing items. From 30 December 2022 to 29 January 2023, about 40 mobile phones were found in BEST's bus. It has been requested by the administration that the passengers should claim this mobile phone before March 15, 2023.

Identity card and residential address proof
Cash Memo / Mobile Bill
Sim card details
Copy of police complaint regarding lost mobile phone
However BEST administration has also clarified that the mobile phone will be given to the claimant only after proper verification of the documents.
