Human Resource Development Minister, Prakash Javdekar released the ranking of colleges on Monday.
Seven IITs are in the top 10 institutions where IIT Bombay is on the third rank. The institutions were marked on 20 parameters under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
Javdekar released the rankings in Delhi and stated that government will provide more funds to institutions faring better in rankings. Over 3,300 institutes participated in te second edition of rankings.
