The weather is expected to remain clear in Mumbai this weekend. Mumbaikars will get respite from the scorching heat this summer as light to moderate rain is expected in some parts of the city and suburbs. The weather forecast reports that most parts of Maharashtra will experience a pleasant heat wave for the next 24-48 hours.


On Monday, the temperature in Mumbai was 30 degree Celsius while the humidity was 70%. The Meteorological Department said Mumbai will witness partly cloudy sky to beat the summer heat and light rain/thundershowers are also likely for the next few days. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle around 33 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 26 degrees Celsius.

Heat wave won't last for the next 5 days. The IMD has predicted rain due to storms in the Bay of Bengal. The districts of north Konkan, central Maharashtra and Marathwada were indicated by the weather agency to receive light to moderate rain on Wednesday and Thursday. No warnings were mentioned for farmers or the shipping community.
