Finally, the wait for MHADA's Mumbai lottery is over. Advertisements for 4083 houses in Mumbai will be issued on Monday. These houses of MHADA will be located in Pahadi Goregaon, Kannamwar Nagar of Vikhroli, Antop Hill, Borivali, Malad, and Dadar. The draw will take place on July 18. The last draw of Mumbai board was held in 2019 and it included only 217 houses.


Advertisements for 4083 houses will be released on May 22. Out of 4083 houses, 2788 houses have been allocated for economically backward group, 1022 for lower-income group, 132 for middle-income group and 39 for high-income group. Registration can be done from the same day itself. The last date for submission of application along with deposit amount is June 26. So the place of draw is Rangsharda, Bandra, West. The house lottery will be drawn on July 18, 2023.


The minimum group in the lottery includes 1,947 houses in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Pahadi in Goregaon, 417 in Antop Hill and 424 in Kannamwar Nagar in Vikhroli, totaling 2,788 houses. So, there are 1022 houses for a lower income group of which 736 houses lie in the hilly area of Goregaon.

The rest of the houses are from Dadar, Saket Society (Goregaon), Gaikwad Nagar (Malad), Patrachal, Old Magathane (Borivali), Charkop, Kannamwar Nagar, Vikrant Society (Vikhroli), Gavanpada etc. At the same time, the board has provided 132 houses for the middle income group and these houses are located in Dadar, Tilak Nagar (Chembur), Sahkar Nagar (Chembur), Kandivali

Also only 39 houses are included for the high income group and these houses are located in Tardeo, Lower Parel, Sion, Shimpoli, Tunga Powai etc. Housing prices for low income groups range from INR 30.44 lakh to 40 lakh.

The last date for submission of applications is June 26. After that the approval applications will be scrutinised. After that the list of eligible applicants will be announced. The draw will take place on July 18.
