The number of coronavirus cases in Mumbai has been increasing day by day, and to tackle the same, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to recruit 114 ward boys. Over the last few days, many doctors, nurses and medical staff in the city have been working relentlessly to tackle the situation. This decision has been taken to ensure more hands are available for assistance during this COVID-19 crisis. 

The announcement for these positions was made recently. Applicants who wish to apply for the position should send their details by April 17, 2020, via an email to  mcgm.wardboy@mcgm.gov.in. The minimum educational qualification for this position is Standard 10, and the remuneration would be between ₹18000 to ₹57000.

Further, candidates can check more details on MCGM portal http://portal.mcgm.gov.in. If a candidate is not able to send an email, one can send the application via post or drop the same at MCGM Gate 7, before 6 pm on April 17, 2020.

Age Limit: 18 to 38 Years

Physical Qualification:

  • Female
    • Height - 45 KG
    • Weight - 150 cm
  • Male
    • Height - 50 KG
    • Weight - 157 cm

Selection of the candidates will be based on document verification and after a personal interview.
