The Mumbai Police, maintaining their quirky, fun self on Twitter, posted a series of emoticons for their followers to guess the important message behind it. The post by Mumbai police has two lines of emoticons with certain essential activities in one and the second one has houses and hospitals.



The post further added that โ€œresponsibleโ€ citizens of Mumbai would know the hidden message. The post basically signifies the time period where the residents would be out conducting essential services, and the time they are to maintain curfew and stay at home.

Several Twitter users have commented on the post by Mumbai Police with some calling it โ€˜thoughtfulโ€™ to some praising the Mumbai Police for their creativity. Netizens even guessed the correct answer by decoding the emoticons further stating that the message means 5:00 am to 9:00 pm the citizens should go outdoors for essential work but from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am, for the safety of everyone, people should remain indoors.

 


Meanwhile, the state of Maharashtra reported 6,555 cases of coronavirus on July 5. This took the COVID-19 tally to 2,11,987 cases. Currently, there are 87,681 active cases in the state. With 3,522 COVID-19 patients discharged in the day, the number of recovered soared to 1,15,262 cases.
