Mumbai Police Commissioner Subodh Kumar Jaiswal had organised the 'Swasth Police, Sashakt Police' initiative which recently concluded on February 26. Over 150 police officers had taken training under Kumar Jaiswal's guidance.

The senior police officers claimed that these officials reduced up to five kgs of their weight in the initiative. Some of the police officers were even said to have lost nine kgs of weight.

The initiative consisted of activities such as Yoga, Exercise, and various sports which helped the police officers in developing their health and helped them lose excessive weight. Now the second phase of the initiative will begin from March 4.

The initiative was started after there was a gradual increase in the blood pressure problems amongst the police officers along with increased cases of heart attacks. The assistance program began from February 6 and 150 police officials were called to the Naigaon headquarters for guidance.

Now the second phase will consist of 150 more police officers who will also receive guidance at the Naigaon headquarters
