Traffic on the Yashwantrao Chavan Expressway will remain temporarily closed on April 23 and 24 due to maintenance work on a bridge near Kusgaon.

According to the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), the shutdown is required for shuttering removal and painting work at the bridge located at km 58/500 between Dongargaon and Kusgaon.

On April 23, Mumbai-bound traffic will be halted from 12 pm to 3 pm and diverted via Kivale–Dehu Road–Talegaon onto National Highway 48 before rejoining at Kusgaon toll plaza.

On April 24, Pune-bound traffic will be stopped during the same time window and diverted via NH-48 through Dehu Road–Kivale towards Pune.

Authorities have advised commuters to plan their travel in advance and use alternative routes, while emergency contact numbers have also been issued for assistance.
