Rain has started once again in Mumbai. Since Wednesday night, the rain has picked up a lot. Wednesday's rains blew away all the common good. On Thursday, there was a break from the rain to some extent. But after Friday afternoon, the rain started again.

Six teams of NDRF have been deployed in Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Kolhapur and Sangli to deal with heavy rains. In landslide-hit Raigad, where at least 16 people died on Thursday, the IMD issued an 'orange' alert till July 25.

The NDRF is set to resume rescue operations in the landslide at Irshalwadi village in Raigad as more than 100 people are still feared trapped under debris and loose soil. Meanwhile, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was deployed in Gadchiroli and Nanded.
