On Sunday morning, the heavy showers led to the collapse of a building’s wall in Jogeshwari which crushed six cars and a bike. Fortunately, no casualty was reported.

Soon after the incident, the fire brigade team and other concerned authorities cleared the debris and removed the vehicles trapped under the wall. According to the reports, many trees were also uprooted in the same area, due to heavy rains and strong winds.

As per Skymet weather, there will be moderate to heavy spells of rain and thundershowers in Mumbai and adjoining areas for the next 24-36 hours. Light showers will continue thereafter but there is a possibility that the intensity will decrease.
