In some parts of Mumbai, night food fairs will be started by allowing stalls or carts so that everyone can taste the unique food culture. So, there is a proposal to set up a state-of-the-art underground aquarium on nine acres of land in the Mafatlal mill site in Ranichi Baug area and an adjoining aquarium in some areas along the sea coast road.

Substantial funds will be provided for the repair of old buildings in the city with the MHADA Repair Board, along with toilets, sanitation etc. Guardian Minister Deepak Kesarkar told reporters that many projects and schemes are being undertaken so that Marathi people do not leave Mumbai and in this regard many important decisions have been taken in the meeting of the City and District Planning Board including the provision of funds of INR 360 crore.

Former minister Aaditya Thackeray had a different proposal for nightlife. It is contemplated to allow stalls or small 'food malls' on roads, footpaths or adjacent to food fairs for food fairs if there is no traffic problem in some sections and after checking other matters. In this regard, instructions have been given to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to determine the department and prepare a proposal. Mumbaikars and tourists can enjoy various food cultures like malvani, koli etc. Kesarkar informed that funds have been given to develop some places in Worli, Mahim and Colaba Koliwada in some places where fish drying areas can be enjoyed in such a way that fish and koli food culture can be enjoyed.

Aaditya Thackeray's concept aquarium in Worli was two-three storied. The cost of that place was INR 1800 crores. As state-of-the-art aquariums all over the world are underground and the aquarium in Worli was impractical, the revenue and other departments withdrew the site and the proposal was scrapped. An attached aquarium for some unique fishes will now be set up in Ranichi Baug area in Mumbai, underground and in coastal areas. He mentioned that instructions have been given to prepare a proposal and this aquarium will introduce Mumbai on the global tourism map.

Funds have also been allocated for modernization and building construction of the J. J. hospital, some facilities in KEM Hospital, some facilities in Siddhivinayak and Mahalakshmi areas and increasing the height of the footpath leading to Haji Ali Dargah, Kesarkar informed. Kesarkar explained that INR 360 crore has been allocated at present and proposals will be submitted, according to which and according to the progress of the projects, additional funds will be given.

Care centers for senior citizens

Care centers (day care) for senior citizens are being prepared in 10 wards in the city district and financial provision has been made for 10 electric buses to facilitate the journey of these citizens to the center. Mid-day meal will also be provided. There is only one swimming pool at Shivaji Park in the city and according to the government plan, sports complexes and swimming pools will be constructed in 9 wards.
