
Due to Angarki Sankashti Chaturthi on January 6, 2026, there is a possibility of a large crowd of devotees at the Siddhivinayak Temple and surrounding areas in Dadar. The impact of the crowd on traffic could lead to significant traffic jams in the said area.
In order to minimise pressure of traffic on the aforesaid roads, the Mumbai Traffic police have imposed temporary traffic restrictions on January 6, 2026 from 06:00 hrs. to 24:00 hrs. (In case of necessity for the safety of devotees, the restrictions may be increased).
Traffic on following roads will be affected:
1) Swatantryaveer Savarkar Road
2) S. K. Bole Road
3) Gokhale Road South & North
4) Kakasaheb Gadgil Marg
5) Sayani Road
Roads Closed:
1. There shall be No Entry to all types of vehicles on S.K. Bole Road from Gokhale Road
2. There shall be No Entry to all types of vehicles on Datta Raul Road and N. M. Kale Road from Gokhale Road.
3. There shall be No Entry to all types of vehicles on S. K. Bole Road from Agar Bazaar junction.
4. S.V.S. Road from Siddhivinayak Temple Junction to S. K. Bole Road, Agar Bazar, Portuguese Church shall be Closed.
5. Right turn from Leningrad Chowk on Sayani Road to Shankar Ghanekar Marg and left turn From Ravindranath Natya Mandir shall be closed.
Local residents living in and around Siddhivinayak Temple will be allowed to go to the desired place as per their requirement.
