The aim is to transport 5 million containers per year through this port. For this purpose, JNPA had entrusted the construction of an independent road connecting the fourth port to the National Highways Authority of India (NHI) Company. After that, the flyover will be handed over to JNPA and the JNPA administration will decide when to open it for traffic, said Yashwant Ghotkar, Joint Manager of NHIA.
