The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has upgraded its grievance redressal system to make the complaint process smooth. The authority has launched the "NMMC Daksh" app, which will allow residents to report issues such as poor road conditions and drainage problems.

In addition to the app, NMMC has introduced dedicated WhatsApp numbers for faster communication:

For road and drainage complaints - 8424949888

For electrical issues - 8421033099

For water supply complaints - 8419900480

To submit a complaint, residents must include supporting images. The engineering department will inspect the reported issue and notify the contractor responsible for maintenance. Based on their assessment, the necessary repairs will be carried out. 

Once the work is completed, photographs of the fixed issue will be shared through the app or WhatsApp number. 

Complaints registered through the Daksh app will generate a receipt. The engineering department will close the complaint only after an inspection verifies that the issue has been resolved.

As per reports, NMMC plans to address these complaints within one day. For those who prefer alternative methods, complaints can still be filed through the official website at www.nmmc.gov.in or by calling the toll-free numbers 1800222309 or 1800222310.

The goal of the new app is to provide faster responses and solve the grievance with multiple convenient options.
