The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has taken an important step in the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor. It has decided to invite bids for its ticketing system. The process is set to officially start on December 7.
The selected consultant will be responsible for many essential duties. It will include the development of the employer's requirements for the MAHSR ticketing system. This blueprint will ensure an effective ticketing experience for passengers.
There will be bidding documents that will create an environment that is fair and effective in the selection process. A critical aspect of the bidding process is the accurate estimation of costs. The consultant plays a key role in the cost estimation report.
Post-tender submissions, the firm will file a complete Tender Evaluation Report. That report will be crucial in making informed decisions and by looking at the bidder's strengths and capabilities. The final stage will be to make a detailed contract agreement ready for signature. It will present the terms and conditions of the MAHSR Ticketing System.
The bidding period will start from December 20, 2023, to January 8, 2024. The firms will have about 20 days to submit their bids for the ticketing system. The pre-bid meeting will occur on December 7, 2023. The final date for document download/end of sale will be January 6, 2024.
