Due to repair work to fix a major leakage in the main water pipeline, there will be no water supply in Diva city for 8 hours on Friday, February 14, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The 500 mm diameter main water pipeline supplies water to Wards 27 and 28 in Diva under the Diva Ward Committee. A significant leak has been detected near Usargarh Railway Culvert, Palava City Compound, causing low water pressure in the surrounding areas.

To address this issue, urgent repairs will be carried out. Once the leakage is fixed, water-related complaints from areas like Agasan, Betwade, Ganesh Nagar, Bedekar Nagar, Mhasoba Nagar, Shanti Nagar, Mumbra Devi Colony, Sabe Gaon, and Diva West are expected to reduce.
During the repair work on February 14, water supply to Wards 27 and 28 will be completely shut off. After the supply resumes, water pressure may remain low for 1-2 days. Residents are advised to store an adequate amount of water in advance and cooperate with the Thane Municipal Corporation during this period.
