The relocation of a 2000 mm diameter main water channel under the Thane Municipal Corporation's (TMC) own scheme will be undertaken at Lodha Dham on the side of the Indian National Highway N-H3 on Wednesday March 15. As a result, 24-hour water supply will be stopped from Wednesday 9:00 am to 9:00 am on Thursday.

Accordingly, Majiwada, Ghodbunder Road, Patlipada, Gandhinagar, Siddanchal, Ritupark, Jailtaki, Siddheshwar, Samtanagar, Indiranagar, Lokmanya Nagar, Srinagar, Ramnagar, Eternity, Johnson, Saket, Rustamji etc. in Thane Municipal Corporation area. Also, water supply will be shut off for 24 hours in some parts of Kalwa and Mumbra.

Due to this shutdown, water supply is likely to be at low pressure for the next 1 to 2 days until the water supply is restored. However, on behalf of the Thane Municipal Corporation, it has been appealed to the citizens to use water wisely and to cooperate with the civic body.
