Mumbai – Soon, free parking will be a thing of the past. If you have a habit of planning car on the road side to save the parking charges then you will have to quit this practice.
If civic officials find a car parked on the road side, they will charge for the same. The state government gave the green signal for paid parking proposal. However, this new rule will be implemented after March.
The government took this decision prior to BMC elections and so Shiv Sena is being targeted for the same. But, free parking will be entertained on the streets of Girgaon, Juhu Chowpaty, and Gateway of India.
