Rescue operations and evacuation of survivors to safer places are prioritized and planned. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that discussions have also been held with the Divisional Commissioner and Collector regarding permanent rehabilitation. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reached Irshalwadi early in the morning and worked throughout the day to expedite and guide the rescue operations.

On the obstacles coming in the rescue work, the Chief Minister said, due to incessant rains, there are obstacles in the relief work. Has difficulties accessing heavy machinery and tools. Chief Minister Shinde said that two helicopters were deployed but they could not reach here due to bad weather. Rural Development Minister Girish Mahajan has been present here since last night and officials and rescue teams have been in touch with the Chief Minister since last night.
