Byculla- On 11th December, three fire brigade officers got electrocuted while rescuing a bird that was caught in the wires in the vicinity of Mahalaxmi Racecourse. One of the injured fire brigade officers was Rajendra Bhojane who ws being treated died on Saturday night at Airoli’s National Burn Center. While, other fire brigade officers Sanjay Mahadev Kalbhore and Dinesh Uttamrao Sabankar are getting treated. Late Bhojane family was demanding that the former should be given honour of a martyr. They had taken a stand to not to cremate his body till he gets the honour. However, authorities concerned did not reply and finally, the family of Rajendra Bhojane carried out his final rites.
