Mumbai – The investigation report on the death of penguins in the Byculla zoo will be presented to the municipal commissioner on 29th November, informed sources in the civic body. One of the eight penguins brought from South Korea in the city had died and it had created a stir in the local politics. Opposition parties in the municipal corporation had held Shiv Sena responsible for the death of penguin. Leader of opposition, Pravin Chheda, had filed a complaint with the Lokayukta and hearing in this regard is underway. Chheda had alleged that the company managing the birds at Byculla zoo had bagged the contract by submitting wrong documents. Following his allegations, municipal commissioner Ajoy Mehta had ordered enquiry in this regard. The said probe report is expected to be submitted to the civic chief on 29th November.
