Earlier, Ramesh Mahale had written ‘The Attack on Taj’, based on the gruesome events of the terror attacks at Taj which was published on November 25, 2014.
On the 10th anniversary of the unfateful incident, the Chief Investigation Officer for the 26/11 terror attacks, Ramesh Mahale released his new book, ‘26/11 Kasab ani Mi’ which describes the writer’s experience during interrogating Kasab and explores his journey, from capturing Kasab to the terrorist’s death.
The book was released at Mumbai Press Club by the Maharashtra Director General of Police (DGP) Datta Padsalgikar. The book consists of detailed reports of the 26/11 attacks that witnessed a display of valour and bravery from the Maharashtra Police Department along with the conversations with Kasab during the terrorist’s interrogation.
"After the 26/11 attacks, the next night, all the officers were called for a meeting where all the officials had assembled to discuss the planning to investigate the entire incident. That’s when the police department found out Mahale’s potential who would sit till 3:00 am investigating about the entire incident,” said Padsalgikar.
